Susie and Sam celebrated their wedding “weekend” in Los Cabos with close friends and I was delighted to be part of it.
The destination wedding was all planned for them, Susie and Sam’s only job was to have fun, enjoy each other, and that’s what they did.
As it was the first time in Los Cabos for all of us, we (the group) decided to venture out to the scene and try local treats where I got to practice my Spanish… The poor souls in the group actually trusted me to order the food for them!!!
They were taking huge risk by letting me order food for them, but as it turned out, the tacos stand was PHENOMENAL! Everything was tasty… Fresh steak, chorizo, spicy pork taco with all kinds of sauces… I couldn’t order anything wrong. I am ready to head back and pay them another visit.

Jessica and Kyle flew from California to have their engagement shoot this past weekend.
They were stuck in traffic for few hours and Jessica had bad allergies, but neither could deter them from having fun. They were too excited to be in the big apple.

On April 24, 2010, Rutgers Football team hosted it’s annual Scarlet-White game which is a final spring practice for the football team.
Few of us got together at the Johnson Park in New Brunswick before the game for a bbq and then headed to the stadium to watch the game.
My unprofessional assessment of the team is that the defense looked promising; which has been the case for coach Schiano’s team and the offense needs to put it together!
Can’t wait until the 2010 season!!! I am looking for another season like 2006! Keep choppin’
The university was giving out free t-shirts so I took few… Yeah, I took more than one since it wasn’t limited to one per guest.

15th Anniversary of Pier 59 Studios from James Jeon on Vimeo.
I had the opportunity to attend the Pier 59 Studios’ anniversary celebration and it was totally awesome.
We took an M roadster to the city; the top was up since it was freezing, but the sweet sound of the S54 makes me grin every time!
The 100,000 square-foot facility sits on the west side highway and we got there in no time.
Inside the studio was filled with gorgeous people in a surreal environment; but a Leopard and the cubs? That was unexpected!

As many of my close friends know, my wife and I were expecting a new baby soon. The estimated due date was February 2, but we have been told by our physician since early January that he wasn’t going to be in the womb for that long, we just didn’t know when…
January 28, ended like most of the other days. I was scheduled to be in the city the next day to tape Jack’s musical “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” at his school, so I got my equipment together and went to sleep as usual…No drama and no surprises.
However, January 29, was a different story. My wife woke me up in the morning and said “honey we have to go.” I thought maybe she wanted to come with me for a ride to drop off my daughter at preschool. But when I checked the clock it was 630am and then I realized what she meant! Got ready as fast as we could and we were on our way to the hospital.
As the nurses were helping with my wife, and waiting for the doctor to arrive, I was ready to call my back up in case I couldn’t make to the city in time. I had to be with my wife to help her through but didn’t want to fall through on my commitment to Jack and his parents either.
In the midst of this crazy thoughts, the doctor checked and said she will be in labor soon. Sure enough, around 8:42am we welcomed our new baby Brandon Jeon and later that evening I was off to the city.
I met Jack’s family and spent a little time at their apartment before the play. You could immediately see that they were a close bunch. Being a father myself, I was drawn to watch his father Meriko sword fighting with Jack. Soon, I will be in Meriko’s shoes.

This is my second trip to Long Island City this year and I was amazed there was another beautiful building right around the corner from the Metropolitan building where I shot Sasha and Tom’s wedding.
Audrey and Stewart tied the knot on a cold evening in December. It was about 30 degrees that evening but you wouldn’t have known it was that cold outside once you stepped through the main door at the Foundry. Inside was cozy and the decor was perfect for the ocation. The live band and the crowd made sure it stayed warm and toasty inside…

On a clear Saturday evening Sasha and Tom tied the knot at the metropolitan building in Long Island City.
The building was located on a corner of an industrial zone and I wouldn’t have found the place had it not been for Tony. I was little shocked that a couple would get married in an industrial park. However, once I stepped in, my worries went out the window.
Inside of the building was simply astounding. The building had the charm of its own. It was 4 stories tall and each floor had its own theme and from the outside, no one would guess it would be that beautiful.
As some say, you can’t judge the book by its cover.

Here in the northeast, fall is a beautiful time of the year. The color of the autumn leaves is just amazing and it’s the best time to go for a ride and take few pictures.
